Economic Development

Economic Development is one of our core strategies for improving the business climate in the Northmont area. We work with government agencies at all levels to determine opportunities for expansion and retention of new and existing businesses in our community. We also partner with other business organizations to promote business growth on both a local and regional basis.

Currently we are partnering with the cities of Clayton and Union (the City of Englewood declined to participate) on both regional and national advertising campaigns to increase awareness of the Northmont Area as a great place to live and do business. We are also working with the Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) and the Dayton Development Coalition to showcase some of the strengths of our community from an educational perspective. The future needs of Ohio business will rely strongly on an educated workforce well grounded in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). MVCTC is a leader in secondary and adult technology education.

We are constantly looking for ways to provide high quality employment opportunities in the Northmont area and to provide our investors with the means to improve the quality of the local workforce.

The Northmont Community Business Expo held each October and the Business to Business discount program are two of the many ways we use to promote our investors throughout the Northmont community.
