The dedicated team at the Northmont Area Chamber of Commerce is the driving force behind the success of our local business community.
We are a dynamic and collaborative group, collectively bringing expertise in business development, member services, marketing, and advocacy. Our primary focus is ensuring the economic vitality of the Northmont area. We achieve this by thoughtfully developing high-value resources, facilitating powerful networking opportunities, and providing essential educational programs tailored to address the current challenges and future needs of businesses, from sole proprietorships to large enterprises. We pride ourselves on our proactive approach, continually seeking innovative ways to support our members and serve as their voice in local affairs.

Angie Clifford - CEO

Angie Clifford is CEO of the Northmont Area Chamber of Commerce and Foundation, as well
as Community Engagement Coordinator for the Northmont City School District. She has led
initiatives to strengthen local business growth, foster collaboration among schools and
nonprofits, and expand workforce development. Angie co-founded the Northmont Regional
Planning Commission, resulting in the $82 million BOLT Innovation Center, and established the
Northmont Area Chamber Foundation (501(c), securing major grants for community programs.


Erik Bush, CP

Erik is an accomplished
Chamber Professional whose career is defined by a decade-long commitment to fostering economic vitality and advocating for local businesses. Starting in the industry in 2014, his expertise was officially recognized in 2018 when he achieved the designation of Chamber Professional from the
Indiana Chamber Executives Association. Driven by a profound passion for
small businesses, Erik relies on the strategic knowledge gained from his
Bachelor of Business degree from Indiana University to help entrepreneurs develop robust strategies for growth.
Angie founded a community mentor program in Northmont City Schools and champions career exploration and workforce development, connecting local businesses to their future workforce from PreK through 12th grade. Through her connections with the US Chamber Foundation Business Leads program, Angie was invited to serve as a panelist at a Washington, D.C.
Congressional Briefing during the Child Care Means Business Summit, where she highlighted the importance of quality, affordable childcare for all businesses.
Angie serves as President of the Kiwanis Club of Northmont, Secretary of the Northmont Lions Club, past President of the Northmont Rotary Club, a Board Member for Northmont FISH, and a Trustee of the Northmont Education Foundation. Through these roles, she continues to drive efforts that strengthen the Northmont community.
The move to the Northmont Area Chamber of Commerce on April 1, 2025, marks the third Chamber in his career, driven by the personal desire to relocate to Ohio—a move of three hours—to be closer to his family.
Beyond his professional life, Erik is a highly engaged community member and a devoted outdoorsman. He spent eight dedicated years serving on the Board for the Madison Community Players. This background in community theater highlights his commitment to the arts and collaborative community leadership. Additionally, for six years, Erik served as a Guardian ad Litem for CASA in Indiana, advocating tirelessly for children in the court system. In his free time, he loves being outdoors, camping, hiking, immersing himself in nature, and cherishing every opportunity to spend quality time with his family. He also expresses his creativity through writing, cooking, and photography.
